I just checked that: I'm running LXDE John RatseySep 28, Howard Hero Member Posts: Dell Latitude, Vostro, and Precision. I looked at the service manual for a similar Dell machine and it says: I have been working hours and hours in front of the NB, but still no dll.

What have you done to rule out hardware issues? This seems to be a problem with the OS software drivers?

By the way, if you open My Computer, did you see a separate drive e. Similar Threads - E Driver Card. I inserted SD Card and nothing shows up.

Gaming Software and Graphics Cards. Check that the Dell ControlPoint hasn't turned the power off to the SD card reader- it's one of the power saving options.

Dell E will not see internal SD card reader.

What other OS's have you booted the machine with? If the card works OK in another computer then there's no need to think about reformatting.
